Writing has both a positive and negative
thrill. |

Writing helps numb the seasons, we all write for many reasons. Many of us get floored, write because we are bored. Others write for profit in hand, financial gain is the demand.
I write for fun, because my profit is hardly none. Writing helps fill my void space, it's my having something to do ace. I get to word and verse travel, sometimes personally unravel. I'd like to be a fly on the wall, when my poetry comes too call. Especially when I commit corrupt, tell others how I'm all f 'd up. But I swallow the pill, because I've paid the bill. F'd up or not, poetry still puts us on the spot.
Some say writing poems is easy inking, but lately I've been rethinking. A bad poem, makes us wish we hadn't wrote none, it can minus from profit or fun. Poeming is also very personal, some of our feelings be at others dispersal. Negative review, sometimes makes us stew. Some take poems too serious, then get all furious. Writers need an attitude of steel, too help warm the negative spill. But writings positive appeal, helps heat its cold chill.

Ahhhh- You said a mouthful!
Take it (poetry and it's feelings expressed in words)
Alittle at time...
When the words come to mind,
My pen finds a place to jot it down!
I feel anything that is useful has to be important to SOMEONE!
Even if NOT usuful - can be turned around, when thought is put into it!
YOu prevoked me to think HARD ~ Thank you ONEPOet~
WArmly, Sheee God Bless in PEACE and Bright LIGHT! |

Indeed it does! Lots of wisdom and pithy commentary here. People often ask, "Why do you write?" Man, is t h a t a long answer. "How many volumes are you willing to read?" Yet it all boils down to,
Each of us writes for our own reasons. Me, I can't help myself. . .yet oddly, enough, I do. Writing is both a joy and a pain. Sometimes it is the pain one has to go through to get to the joy. Thanks for this thought- and emotion-provoking write.

| Naw, writing is never easy. It is 10% imagination and 90% hard work. We write because we love it. And when something written is rated one star, I personally find it so hard to throw it away. Victor |

I couldn't agree more, G. And if it isn't something we enjoy doing, what's the point? |
