To our self let us be true ...

Try do I to write of flowers,

Of sweet & sugary prose,

Of romantic scenes,

Of family & teens…

Find do I that I have therein no talent,

Every now and then though I seem to write most gallant,

Though give me a funny picture & you will feel the words fly,

Give me a joint to smoke and of humor you can see me get high…

Watch me whip out words in a minute mile,

Trying all the time to make you smile, at least for a while,

Let me know you found it to be full of humor,

And it brings out in me the best I can give,

Funny pictures I always for later put on file…J

Another fine poem from the poet
The more you write, your words show it.

It's your twisted verbage that is your style,
and reasons give you us for to smile!

Ed ...

It's so easy to ponder our inadequacies. Gosh ... I do it every time I write or create art. I do it every time I look in the mirror as a matter of fact.

Touching the heart of another is the most important thing as far as I'm concerned. There's not much of that left in the world. And it's good to know exactly who we are, and what we can do, and then press forward undaunted into those dark areas to try and break new ground.

Thanks for always lightening my heart ...

Ed, I love your picture and your word-picture here of "to-ing thyself be true". We all have our "rich seam". I'm a humorist too, believe it or not! And your comment on my Diagnostics cracked me up. Stuff the "all things to all men" rubbish. Let's major on what we KNOW we are good at, and be happy with that. After all, who wants to be wallpaper, when we can be the paw-print patterns that make it stand out? And you and Rufuz are totally the flocking on the woodchip lining! Be free - weed or no weed... The world needs smilers... :)) K xx

Ed, I smile every time I seee that silly grin on your face in your photo. You do not have to try to hard to make us smile.

This is good Ed. Your style of writing is very enjoyable -- honest and real and so down to earth.

Being true to oneself is usually the best way to be true to others as well. Enjoyed the read.
