There will be no bows or bangles to see
Instead there will be a solitary tree
Set in the corner on its crown
in other words upside down

I shanít call it a Christmas tree
Its name will be love to thee
No lights or ornamental design
will be on it to make it shine

Iíll wind up using a ton of ink
printing pictures of who I always think
the pictures will be framed with glitter and magic dust
Iíll hang them starting at the bottom, which is a must

With care and love each will be placed
until the tree is sufficiently laced
Then a garland of the words she has gifted to me
Will make this lattice really something to see

Some may ask why the tree is not right side up
Itís because itís the way her love filled my cup
It started off small with tiny hints of allure
Then grew into something so beautifully pure

One other point I would like to make
that in no way is this tree fake
It is one that lives and grows even still
adding to a heart that will never fill
