                         A New Fantasy

Fantasies, it seems to me, change from year to year.

Younger dreams of long ago were brash and new no fear.

The middle years brought fantasies of love so very real.

At times the real world would dim and thoughts would somehow heal.

My later years have brought a change, though passions linger on,

my thoughts and dreams of times gone by are like a fading song.

My fantasies today are new and based on real things,

stories told and laughter shared and thoughts that caring brings.

The honest smile, the sparkling eyes, the laugh that rings so true .

My fantasy is very real, her name is Ginny Lou
