It's time for the wolf
to learn from deer, to know
and to master fear.

*

Owl hoots at midnight,
silent wings beating darkness.
Mice hide under leaves.

*


He'd share his silent
lexicon, if he could find
flesh to ink it on.

Very nicely composed and rendered, much in the way of traditional haiku. Very cool, indeed!

The wolf/deer haiku has to be the best haiku I've ever read.
