It defines us

The way JFK's assasination

And Martin Luther King JR,

Defined the generation before us

It shook our world to it's very core

Those who were sheltered

Are sheltered no more.

Images of death and destruction

Forever etched in our minds

And for a short time

We were a nation

United

In our grief.

Funny how people can stand together when all eyes are upon them...and this is true...how easy to unite as a nation in times like the 9/11 disaster...just to go back to all their old hatred the next day!!

Excellent offering Michelle!!

love Tinka
