|What a treat this is, Butch, to have the opportunity to share one of your son's firsts and in addition to see it expressed through the watchful and loving eye of his father. Man and nature cast in the perfect medium. What an adventure for both of you and so well crafted in Haiku chain. Someoneonce told me that once I had written a chain, I should pick the one that, to me, said it all.

fixed upon cobalt blue speed
across silver waves"
