Jesus lived long ago in Galilee ,
and when he turned the age of thirty three,
they took him to a place called Cavalry ,
where they nailed my friend Jesus to a tree .
There are friends who's help you can rely on ,
they're always there to help you get along .
There are others you know they're not so bad ,
but Jesus is the best friend that I've had .
It's good to know there's a friend to count on ,
and to know that his friendship won't be gone .
I've known Jesus for all my life till now ,
he's always helped me make it through somehow .
Some may use the name a friend so carefree,
but that really does not apply to me .
I'll always say Jesus you are my friend ,
and I know our friendship will never end .
