Embraced in Love

Tears fall from above
Because of a crying dove
Someone fell 'out' of love
This I hear a lot of

The doves should be flying high
No tears falling from the sky
Everyone should be proud of
Being forever "Embraced in Love"

No more crying doves
No more falling out of love
Much more happier days
Please change your ways

easy to say, hard to do when life is difficult for some folks.

Love the graphic, and the poem, and oddly enough, I just wrote about a dove, too.

This write brought several thoughts to my mind, I thought of what a confusing day that we live in with so much divorce in our society, when I tell people that I have been married for twenty seven years they are shocked and often ask, "to the same man?" I always reply very proudly, "yes, the same man." I know sometimes that there is good reason for divorce, as I was raised in a divorced home, and I turned out fine, but there was a good cause. Today marriage vows are not taken seriously, people marry and divorce within a year, not really even getting to know each other. The line "No tears falling from the sky" created a thought about how people will make a commitment with God to humbly serve him and then when things get rough, they turn their back and go back to their old ways. Enjoyed this write, thought provoking!
