I took a break and fed the birds today, mostly seagulls. Anyway they seem to enjoy just flying around, especially the pigeons.

The birds fly around,
very seldom do we see
them on the ground.
Surely they do rest,
but we seldom see
them in their nest.
At times they soar up high,
and
play like they'll never die.

I'm no bird,
but
I try to fly with
my attitude and word.
With my pen in hand,
I try very hard not to land.
When I do hit ground,
I try real hard not to
be completely down.

Come fly with me with love,
help me launch the peace dove.
The sky is the limit,
but
the devil will try to trim it.
Birds don't seem to worry,
neither do they seem
to be in a hurry.
They fly in circles just for fun,
don't quit until the day is done.
