My cousin, Phyllis, has MS but has not given up. Yet..

"Why me, Lord?"
"Why not you?"
"But I'm stricken
              with MS
Even the sight of food sickens
               me in this mess.
               My wheelchair
               My potty
               My bed
               My one room...
               My life.
Why me?"
"Why not you?"

A sad write George
some ask why, others pray
thanking the Lord they are healthy
I have a 48 year old sister-in-law
who has down syndrome with the mentality
of a child.
Peace Be with you

I'm So sorry George. Poetyr is one way to say the things you think you can't otherwise. Nicely done and I hope things get a little easier soon.

POWERFULLY effective, written verse: that ending: 'Why NOT you?' There, but for the Grace of God...Phyllis will be in my prayers. As will you: thank you for sharing your sadness.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

My prayers are with your cousin Phyllis. It's hard to understand 'why' things happen, but someday we will. She
sounds like a fighter, George. Thanks for sharing with us.

Blessings to you both,
