Well it is snowing again. We may get three to six inches of snow but the bad news is after that it will burn to freezing rain and sleet. Winter came late but she is making up for it.

I ride the wind and lazily float downward to the ground

Where I will join my friends who have already come down.

I treasure the feel of the cold bitter wind

Because it is the wind that made me snow so I will ride where it sends.

Once I am lying on the ground with those before me

I will welcome other snowflakes because as I look up I can see

There are many of them and together we will paint the ground and the trees.

Our presence preserved by the cold winter breeze.

Eventually man will be unable to see where I end and others begin on the ground

It will be covered with one giant blanket of white looking up at others which float down.

One little snowflake does amount to even a flurry

But many of us together can bring on winters fury.

As I finally land with those before me on the land.

Together we resemble a beach full of white sand.

Now I feel another landing on top of me and then another.

We are joined together for each is my brother.

More are floating lazily from the sky to the land and the trees.

They too are dancing beautifully in the cold winterís breeze.

Our longevity depends entirely on the cold winter breeze

For it is that wind which caused us all to freeze.

When the temperature rises we will no longer be snow.

We will melt away, turn to water and be carried off by the rivers flow.

Immaculate White Smoke.... Adventures of the Angels
