We have all said "I'm sorry", but in many cases the words just aren't enough.

Apologies are hollow,

if not accompanied by change;

as if mere words could erase

the pain of the cause.

Apologies are for

both the motive and the deed;

no empty excuses,

I've heard them all please.

But not so you all

will think me so perfect,

MY mind can be closed

and my heart might be cold.

Real apologies,

are making amends;

and if that can't be done,

the pain never ends.
