The age old struggle between good and evil.

He lie across an ancient stone tomb.
A stake aimed toward his heart. This manifestation of pure evil,
tried to tear his foe, apart.

I have lived for many centuries
and have seen the fall of nations.
I'll never yield to a mere mortal,'
hissed the hellish creation.

I am not mortal and this you know,
for I have slain your many kin.
Where you unleashed evil upon the world,
I have avenged your sin.

I have come to end your damnation.
Your evil soul, can now rest.
No longer will you desire human blood.
He then staked, the vile one's chest.

As the wood impaled the Vampire's heart,
his soul-less red eyes, did finally see.
Standing over him, was not a man,
for an angel, had set him free.
