tonight's diary, poetry can wait.
I put a year old snake in the grass yesterday,
And today you show me your old skill
Of knowing, and your new one:
My Amazon in an instant message,
Typing the foreign body plastic,
With hands that prefer bamboo sticks,
The Mountains to the sea, snakes to people;
You are there, briefly, in the city of S.P.
I knew too, my Snake would come to me,
Gemini, twice; and while I lick the back
Of my own bitten hand,
I lick your words from the screen.
You say you want bees for honey,
Special medicine bees "not for sale
Honey on 'shelfs' - just for 'ourselves'."
Your English...my Portuguese...
You read 'The Misterious Flame of Queen Loana'
You need to find trout for the lake.
You've seen snakes around - Beautiful,
Dangerous. You are careful, but not afraid.
There are lots of noisy little monkeys,
You know one just like me... adolescent
Parrots, and fruit bats in the trees...
Jagua..ti..ricas, (wild cats) - You know,
One year on, so much the essence of me.
Tears that have us fall to our knees, release
Loss in daily measures, forgiveness in juice,
Let them roll right down the street,
Watch them roll; these are blessings
Of truth, and peace.

|Oh...this one strikes a chord in the key of damn-too-bad and I, too, put a year-and-a half old snake in the grass recently, released it so it never comes crawling back to spit venom in the name of the Goddess...those medicine bees are sweet-sting therapy in the name of apitherapy, acupuncture points of orgasm! Bee-sting therapy is rewarding of h-o-n-e-y...I illustrated that famous tarot card THE THREE RAVENS, TAROT BY SAGE...very good, Nicky, makes me wonder more...truth and peace are quite rare...
