I have about 30 plus people tracking me. Many of them never leave a review. I'm also tracking about 30 plus people. I use to try and visit them all. Many times I fumble the ball. Through trying to write my second book and serving this verse addiction times runs out, before I can move about. Many times I'll visit but won't leave a review.
Some will track and leave, then come back, sometimes they'll even attack.
Some are long time friends that never say a word. Or maybe they never were friends, who knows? Those who use the N word and other minority degrading slang and think it's ok, I forgive them but never will I review or visit, well I hate saying never. I'll just say it is unlikely. Mean people I won't visit either. I forgive them also.

Each day in the den
I lose and make a friend.
I hate losing
but it's not of my chosing.
I love winning
it keeps me grinning.

But whether I lose or win
I come again and again.
Through hurt feelings
and phony dealings
days not so appealing.
I read and I write
both day and night.

It's my intention to have fun
and not fight.
Try to love and do
what is right.
Plans don't always work out
traveling this poetic route.
But my word continues to flow
each day I come and go.

Dear Grady, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find time for AD, but that doesn't mean I don't care; it's just I can only spread myself so thin. You are a wonderful friend, and whenever I see you I try to respond. I too have many trackers and haven't a clue why they never review my work...Maybe I should be glad...But you know you have the right attitude, always have Grady, and I will always love you! Oh I have been here long enough to know what you are talking about....sometimes you keep on and on and on...going back to read someones work because you enjoy their work. But there are some that plain bloody ignores you flat out,...oh nevermind!!

Each day on the Den is a trip to disneyland at times..but sometimes a battlefield between emotions of hurt and laughter!!

I am now able to review more than I did because we now have a computer and am online. At the library, however, we have an hour time limit (Even if it isn't busy; crazy!!). So I'll be able to read and review more. I am glad I am here too; I have made many wonderful friends, including you. Excellent write, One!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Love the accompanying illustrations. Cool! :)

TOO~ you know I love you!

...and we all know that the more we're tracked the harder it is to's a jungle out here and all we can do is write to our hearts content and read and review those that we can, when we can...I believe the word here is "try"...everyone wants to be heard, we all have something we must say...knowing this I try my best to reciprocate everyone's desires...I fall short, but I try, try, try...
Keeping EVERYONE happy is a nice thought, but quite impossible, so the best recipe is, "too", just try...:)
Love and Peace~

AD is a very strange place, indeed, my friend. I also have trackers I've never heard from - and I've wondered why, but I no longer worry about it. I've also had members who had read me all the time, and as soon as my political or environmental views differed just a tad from theirs, I never heard from them again.

But I think we all really write for ourselves - so why worry about it - Write On!

The word is what matters "ONE" it is not right to use cultural slurs... As far as the trackers I think we all have that same record too. I just write and hope what I write in some small way touches one person a day... Thanks for your words...

I hear you: I you've captured how I've been feeling! I've many tracking me, wish I'd get as many reviews...but then, I figger, as long as they're reading, I'll be satisfied. 'Course, it would be nice to hear from them...LOL I'll write, regardless, because I have to. Good or not, the poetry's m i n e. Keep writing, One, I'll keep reading (and reviewing!).

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
