One of my "old" poems.

I soared courageously through the heavens
Desiring to partake of its elements

I tasted cold, sweet star crystals
Shivered as they kissed my mouth

Nibbled on creamy moon morsels
Found them salty! Rich! Delightful!

I dared venture near day's fiery sun
Caught an infinitesimal bit of its molten sauce

Tasted and scorched my innards
Tantalized and excited my passion

I let heavenly elements eat of me
I'm satiated! My bliss beyond belief!

I'm one with the heavens
An element of its feast

Greatly enjoyed this amazing flight into "sci fi"/spiritual conviction, testimony, and communion. Such sublime unity with Divinity is rarely imagined much less put into such superb poetic form. Much gatitude Ms. Dickerson,
