perhaps it's time to finally let go.

I don't suppose you remember

Today was the day

I came over your way

Flew to LA

I don't suppose you care

that i've missed you so much

your smile your essence

your unique way

your touch

I think you may not forget

I was there for you

when you were so busy

with things to do

I waited patiently

for the time we had

even though neglect

had made me feel sad

you left me alone for hours

in cinema and malls

so much so i made other pals

i wondered why i felt so alone in LA

when you had asked me to come and stay

i know it was when we had first met

but i hadn't  time to give as yet

And now i've all the time in the world

to make amends

for whatever i did wrong in your eyes

but it seems to me your blinded

by others and cannot see through their disguise

each with their own agenda

for keeping you on your own

I only hope truly, Ron

You don't end up like me

Alone

Urgent and resonant, I think a lot of people can connect with the emotion in this.
