Across The Stars

Love and stars and the moon...such a close bond of intimacy they share.

Across The Stars

Knock gently on the moonlight

on the far side of the moon

Don’t yell or speak too loudly

in the sunshine of the noon

I am only here for a little while

till the stars revoke my name

So lets share a little magic

I still need love the same

Hold me but don’t imprison

my heart that needs to breathe

Welcome me but smile for me

When it’s time for me to leave

In the heartbeat of a second

when time seems to stand still

A sweet kiss can last eternity

goodbye just seems a bitter pill

Snap a mind picture for tomorrow

to look back upon today

If I’m not here I’m gone off

to maybe ride the Milky Way

Ah…but if you ever need me

blink twice and I’ll be back

I’ll ride a shooting comet

star train running on star track
