Weeding Time

Flowers blooming in the Spring,

birds of feather, gliding in flight,

squirrels about, doing their thing,

creates a natural frolicking sight.

Contentment found in a given day,

taking just a little time if you dare,

standing still watching nature’s way,

mysteries and wonders it will share.

Rabbits grazing upon the ground,

deer nibbling on the young leaves,

bees working, buzzing all around,

refreshing favor of a warm breeze.

Ants working, marching one by one,

baldheaded eagles soaring over head,

chipmunks scampering about in fun,

children stretch as they get out of bed.

Our lives our a constant set of deeds,

filled with confusion and commotion,

while time flees like growing weeds,

reflection brings love and devotion.
