As graceful as an Egret
As tiny as a mouse
The id of life's entanglements
Is forever in our house.
Of souls in deepest harmony
Like dancers in a play
As babies, we are crying,
Merely waiting for the day
When souls are caught out walking
Along beaches of lost time
Waiting for the answers
Will there ever be an hour?
When all our tears are justified
As we gaze upon the moon
Do we know true words of wisdom?
Can we carry any tune?
Can we leave the world we squandered
With our souls still virgin pure?
Can we eloquently answer?
Are we absolutely sure?
This earth was better for us
With our egos and our plight?
Can we dance among the angels?
Are we ready to take flight?
Life is INDEED the poser
Of the answers,we have naught
Let us go with smiles unending
For it's FATE that we have wrought.

Such acute insight into the truth of who we are and how our actions seal our fate. Well done Susan!

The more we know, The less we understand because we don't seek understanding with the same fervor as we do knowledge. We need to rethink this and give consideration to everything in our existence and smile and rejoice in the idea that we really can enjoy a part in authoring our own fate. What an inspiring write. Thank you, Love Pierre.

John Lennon sang 'People asking questions, lost in confusion, Well I tell them there's no problems only solutions.'

How true. We are the authors of problems which in turn compells us to be authors of solutions. God provided all the basics for us to enjoy life yet man insisted on complicating matters didn't he?

Ah my smiling Susan, you have penned a sweet look at life and asked all the right questions. The beauty of your images in this philosophical wondering is precious with babies, angels, music and wild life opening the act with things we all love and cherish and then going on to end it with a hope in what the reason for our existance is. This is special.
