We all are guilty of having some type addiction. |

Sometimes I wonder about being a poet, before I joined AD I did not know it. What don't kill, suppose to make a stronger will. After five years of writing verse, I'm thinking I have a poetic curse. But there are things much worse.
All addictions affect about the same, there's no need to call any by name. But I've got to mention one, one is better than none. Life is an addiction, with or without its restriction.
Don't do this and don't do that, bring in the hog, slaughter him when he's fat. Eating too much pork isn't good, neither is a termite eating house wood. Tell the termite, he will still feel he's right. I wonder if Ad puts a limit on how much we can write, seems I'm about like the termite.

One...writing is like breathing, you can't do too much of it.
As for pork-chops...go on grilling, I heard that chilli-sauce make wonders on your tongue afterwards.
Bon appetit!!! and go on writing:

One,
I am addicted to this writing game; have over 2,600 stories here. I wonder how much more I can write too, but as long as my muse allows it, I shall continue to do so. And I hope you do, too; the Den would be a much sadder place without your rhyming thought provoking poems! Very well done yet again, One! BRAVO!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D |
