"She comes in colors" -Mick Jagger

To see her in the morning light
Gives strength to face each day

To touch her hand and know she’s mine
My troubles fade away.

To love her so -my sweet delight
Returned to me in kind

She walks with me through darkest night
Our hearts and souls entwined

To see her love in multi tones
Her image always shows

To touch her love and love her touch
Her treasures she bestows

To love her loving me, sublime
A billion new rainbows

I'm musing over your introductory quotation, Butch...and the link to rainbows regardless of the title. Really fascinating composition and iamb cadence to this poem. From the obvious in the visuals of couplets and lyric of end rhyme, to the segmental use of repetitive entres above and below the separating couplet, you ease the convention in so smoothly, it takes several reads for the reader to notice the reinforcement and effective but unconventional format. I've never seen this before, Butch, you should name it. And with the fascination of form aside, this remains the very essence of love poetry.Sigh and Congratulations.
Love,
Taylor

lyrical indeed...this could easily be put to music...the composition of couplets of interlocking rhyme, appears....at first...sparse...but once the reader falls into the rhythm, the full depth of this piece is revealed...in technicolor! Splendid piece of work here.
