There really is "No place like home". I was born and grew up in Virginia and even though, I find beauty in all the places on Earth which God has created, no matter how far I roam, Virginia always pulls at my heart strings. I know Vermont will always pull at yours.

|You are making me wish I was there, especially in the fall when the leaves on the maple trees turn colors. Absolutely lovely!

|Reminds me of my northwood, and I don't think I could ever leave it. My mother and brother moved to Florida, but I need my four seasons!|

|MaryGrace, this poem painted a beautiful picture...I loved it! I also love the change in seasons and I too love the mountains, streams, autumn leaves and a warm snowy night. Your voice in this piece brings to life this poem.|

|I've never been to Vermont but after reading this, I'm tempted to visit. I've visited a number of places in the States that took my breath away but this sounds really special. It's no wonder you miss it. Thanks for sharing such enticing poetry.
PS: I think this would make such a wonderful song.

|I miss Ohio, and I miss...BASEMENTS. The changing of the seasons. The cold. The snow. The green hills and lush trees. Get me OUTTA Texas; I HATE it here!!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
Feeling shellshocked from the severe weather threat--and NO freakin' basements to go to when it DOES turn severe! Pray for us....
