I wish I had used my youth with greater care and thought.
I wish I had paid more mind to my elders and to the things they taught.
I wish I were of better health today so I could be stronger and more aware.
I wish I had been more careful yesterday… my physical body not to impair.
I wish and wish and wish some more but what is done is done and past.
It is time I stopped spending so much time wishing and learn to enjoy life as long as it will last.
Wishes are easily made but rarely satisfy the mind when you are old.
If the wish one makes is to ever to come true he must have the courage to be bold.
Work for the good of all mankind and work for your children’s future lives.
For one day you will pass away and only the good you do survives.
Thank God for every day you have and live it to make a difference for generations yet to be.
Then when you stand before your maker you will know what it’s like to be free.
If you spend your life wishing but do not work to make those wishes come true
You will find that generations to come will have no reason to remember you.
Love your neighbor as yourself and love your creator with all your heart.
Be not afraid to wish but put them to work and God will do his part.
