An Ode To Sorrow

An ode to sorrow,
Has found it way once more,
This life seems empty,
Can’t take this much more.

My time is wasted,
You don’t know me anymore,
The skies above us,
In which we adore,
Can paint us a picture, and nothing more.

Our dreams are fleeting,
To heavens above,
The angels are singing,
And fly on wings of white doves.

This is my ode to sorrow,
Its found me once more,
My life is so empty,
I can’t do this anymore

My time is wasted,
In searching for the day,
But maybe I’ll see you,
Some how, some way…

(speaking, whisper like, no longer singing)

My ode to sorrow,
Has taken me away,
To see a light,
So distant, and mislaid.
Somehow, some way…

If you couldn't guess, this is a song that I wrote on my guitar and paino. I thought it would make a good poem to, but you can be the judge of that.

Jessi, this poem/song is simply amazing, I am not lying when I say that there were tears in my eyes by the end of it. Marvelous write! And remember, you are always loved.
