My Sunday prayer put to words.
God, I Pray
Oh God, I pray this day
Will bring blessings to the needy
Those who are sick without hope
Those who are lonely with no one to love
Those who are anxious over problems of the day
Those who ask instead of thank when they pray.
God, have mercy on the innocent and pure
Keep them safe from injury and harm
From gangs, drugs, hate and anger
From contention, bitterness, rancor and strife
Give them the spirit of spiritual wholeness
That they might work toward a decent life.
God, I ask that you bless my family,
My friends, loved ones, associates, and acquaintances,
Whatever troubles they carry on their shoulders this day
Give them relief and peace and a happy heart
And teach them that hope evolves when they pray.
My heavenly father, for all you do
I thank thee with all my heart,
Knowing that you are always there for me
For all whose lives are burdened and heavy laden,
You bring the spirit of love, joy, hope, and a peaceful heart
That comes only from love of Thee.
For this I, your humble servant, pray….

|Very beautiful to see someone praying for others in this world of me, me, me! If only more would realize that when you ask for others who truly need, the blessings automatically reign down on us!!!
Great write, prayer.
God Bless, God Speed,

|A Beautiful Prayer!
This is "one of those prayers" when we are trying to put together in words or say how we feel when we are speaking to the Father but they (the words) don't seem to "come out right" as we would want them to! <smile> [That's why the Holy Spirit intercedes for us] This should be a Prayer for everyone to remember and recite!
Keep up the "Great Works!"

|A prayer from the heart speaks multitudes...I believe the Lord is pleased when he hears our prayers when we prefer our brothers needs before our own. Very inspiring and a guide for many, full of compassion, spirit, and wisdom. Enjoyed this much my friend!

|A prayer from a good heart and a kind soul, a prayer centered on relief for others, a prayer giving glory to God and asking for His benevolence and compassion.
I will read this prayer many times before this day is over, Jeanette. It is a model to help me focus my attentions and my intentions.
It is oft quoted that God works in mysterious ways. But there is no secret and mystery in praying for others. We just need to do it. Daily.
You expose a loving and generous heart, Jeanette. You have spent a lifetime in helping young children. And now that you are no longer in the classroom, you turn your efforts to worldwide humanity. If we all would be as generous and as expansive in our thoughts as you, the earth would soon be filled with nothing but peace and love and Satan would be standing by himself in the unemployment line.
Thank you for taking the ache and pull of our consciences and expressing them in words that we all can share.
With love and great respect,
