A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW

Stand back and look at the bigger picture

Lets take a look at the ongoing war
From a different point of view
What makes those people act like this
So different from me and you

Well they live their lives another way
Most are poor and under fed
But their only aim at this present time
Is to send our troops home dead!

Religeous fanatics, I hear you say
And of that, you may be right
But until we understand these folks
Then we'll never end this fight

How many of us would enter a crowd
with a bomb strapped to our chest
They do it with very little thought
To be rid of this unwanted guest

So the deaths they mount, as days go by
On both sides are many tears
And the hatred building in their hearts
It will last for a thousand years

So forget for a moment this patriotism
Of our boys so proud and true
Just step back and take a look at this
From a different point of view
