You are in my thoughts as you always accompany the shades of dreaming. There have been times when I attempted to trap you under my eyelids, perhaps to hide you away in a safe haven until we CAN actually have the moment fate wishes for us.

My safe place

Here where we never guess
Where there is no judgement
No one enters and chaos is never allowed
Not where the spirit of this lover and the soul of her heart reigns
Where we always begin to shine and never pale
In here, in this white hot core

This haven

We have our dreams, our way

Infinity seems real
There are no doubts nor repenting and regrets
Here we have taller years
We make better use of time
Our thoughts have credence
Being accountable to one another is
Most important
Ethics is more than a word
Here we admit to immortality
We live and hold to every morsel that's positive

Time is tasted

Here values are treasured
Our sorrows are outlived
Tender caresses of faith , shine
In this haven, our safe place

Sounds like heaven, to me. But then, heaven and haven may be derived from one or the other.

Interesting new style.

Susan, the picture is absolutely beautiful, and your poem radiates with a desire to keep our hearts set on the goodness that lives within each person and to seal it and hold on to it for as long as we live. An exceptional writing!

Oh Susan, send me a map to this place
Where I can enjoy
And bring back a smile to my face
As this poem did.

Oh Susan you have such a warm heart that to be wrapped up in that kind of love you share would be like being Adam to your Eve. Very well done indeed and so good to be reading your excellant words again.
