I am proudly American
My Great Grandparents came to this
Searching for more
Looking for hope
A greater hope for their children and
They came with Hope
Etched on their hearts
And dreams etched
In their minds
What America offered
The red white and blue
The stars and stripes
That fly so proudly
One Nation Under God
It was back then,
I am proudly American.
And I wish America
A Happy Birthday.

|This is a very decent tribute to our country, and even tho I will soon be living in Australia, I can never forget my American heritage. You can take the girl out of America, but you can never take America out of the girl. Thank you for sharing Michelle, this is very precious. The picture too captures the poem beautifully.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS))))))))), sister Barbie
