a little girl's despair...a collaboration

Let us write about a childhood lost,
When no one cared what was her cost.

A little girl, abandoned by her own Mother,
had left her Dad for the love of another.

Her falling tears were many, waiting at home,
for mom to come back ne'er more to roam.

This girl grew up not knowing love,
But finally found it from Above.

She found herself in a peaceful place,
A loving smile she wore upon her face.

Mom got lost in her own search for love.
And had to also find it from Above.

Years have past, and the girl's forgiving,
Mother has atoned for her bad living.

They've found a place where both can share.
And now she knows mom does really care.

So now with time pain's gone away,
'Cause Mom's come home ...this time to stay.
