This water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also; not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at Gods right hand; with angel’s authorities and powers of submission to him. (First Peter 3:21, 22)

We bathe our body in crystal waters to remove dirt from our mortal skin.
We bathe ourselves in the Holy Sprit and thereby God washes away our sin.
We swim happily in the clear mountain lake or dive into the oceans waves.
If we pledge ourselves to God we swim in of the Holy Spirit and our soul it truly saves.
God asks us to be baptized not to cleanse the body but to pledge our soul to him for eternity.
This will bring about blessings to numerous to count and eternal happiness to you and me.
When you go down to the riverside to be baptized you have promised God above
That when you went below the water have you died to sin and when you arise you truly know his love.
Therefore, you become brothers and sisters in Christ and thus you are his servants.
You learn to live each day for the one who protects the soul from sin and doubt for his love will not relent.

I'll never forget my river baptism...nearly twenty seven years ago, but when I allow my mind to drift backward in time to that cool March Sunday...I still can feel the wonderful spirit encamp about my soul, God's hand embrace me, and His spirit encourage me to go on another day, to strive for there is much to gain at the end of this road we call life! Great write my friend!
Blessings,

Dear Lew,
The Creator has seven spirits with which we are baptized. The first four are water, air, earth and fire. We have not yet been given understanding of the remaining three.
Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph* |

A well written poem, love the way you put things as well....and now its got me wondering
if you choose baptism as an adult , rather than your parents
planning it.......does it come with heavenly perks?? lol

lew,
This is straight company line about baptism, accurate but not True. not true because it only tells me about baptism it does not tell me about Baptism. Is it possible to break open the box marked baptism and show the wondrous riches within?
still and all a fine work
