A muse is the source of my discontent or is she as I struggle to regain my Goddess power.

Which one of them sent you to tantalize me
and tell me lies a makeup for my past.
A past that saw me kissing in the wind and making toes curl
at the whisper of my phrase which one of them sent you
I won't tell anyone I just want to know in order to thank her

You are a precious gift aged to perfection and as I look deeply into your eyes I see yesterday and many tomorrows.
Which one of them sent you as my penance for yesterdays' folly when I drank from their well without commitment..

My heart leaps and my pulse quickens at the sight of you
your voice sends chills down the length of my spine, nibbling
on my ear as I whisper who sent you to drive me mad with your promises yet to be delivered and as I sink once more to my knees at your fountain before drinking I ask again.

Which one of them sent you .
Tell the bitch it didn't work because you see I fell in love with you a promise I made to myself never to do.
Which one of them sent you my new and lasting beloved.

If your "Goddesss" power is shot, girlfriend, then I'd like to know what you call her when she is up and running. She'd probably scare hell out of us.

A marvelous piece.

With "nibbling my ears with promises" one enter the realms of the private affairs secretely guarded from light.
The poem opens the door to a demented passion, teased with promises, fire not lit, just an increasing pile of wood for a pyre where love could be consumed, only if...
