Arm Chair Traveler
(For Those Who Cannot Afford To Vacation)

Come to the seat that fits your soul
Cool and vacant, all alone
Without contour, slant, or dent
Lean back, let your soul ascent

Fresh as  dawn, before the eye
Anchored body, visions fly
Drift to locals worlds away
Soaring high, while smiles stay

Travel plans are never needed
Fertile is the mind as seeded
Such holiday to span the world
While on your couch, your legs are curled

Imagination is always an option!

This piece effectively highlights the value and amazing power of the imagination. We can travel the world from the comfort of our own couch and we will never get bumped off our flight, be delayed or lose our luggage. Well done!

Been on the tour many times. It's dependable, thrifty and I get to go where I want to go. Thank goodness I dream in technicolor.

The imagination is such a precious commodity, I pity those who do not have a fertile one for it has led me to places I would never have been able to go to without it.

It truly is, and a much needed one today.

But can you tell me, Stewardess, will any cookies be served on that couch? I simply cannot travel anywhere, without me cookies.

Imagination comes cheap at less than half the price... is often more luxurious and comfortable... and doesn't give you a gyppy tummy!! :)) I find that anticipation is EVERYTHING and often the build-up far exceeds the exerience at the end of the day. Learning to relax, enjoy and live life daily, right where you are (assuming it's not THAT grim!) is probably far more healthy in the long run than the crash and burn of holiday over-indulgence... though this great world's natural canvas is a healing and mind-blowing experience in itself. Right, I've probably sent you right off to sleep by now, so hope you've flown away to somewhere totally exotic! Bring me back a seashell! Wonderful concept here, Anita. TY Kate xx
