How do we explain the horror in Somalia?

With bullets flying everywhere
And bombs exploding in the streets
People have been forced to flee
Business centers have been shut
In the rubbish strewn alleys of the city
Dead bodies litter around and stink
Over them dogs do shit and urinate
Cats eat them greedily as they guzzle
Thinking that Mom is still alive
Babies cling to unfeeding breasts
Scenes are grisly and unspeakable in here
And the world is only watching not acting

You paint pain in effective, no holds barred lines, Abdi-Noor. Such suffering...may your Nation learn from its ways before it is too late.

(((HUGS))), love and prayer, Karla.

Will the world permit Somalia to continue its agony? Will the world fear to become swamped by the hate? Can we, do we, continue to only watch, and not act?

Abdi-Noor, Africa must find answers, or the horror will only go on, and become worse...

There's nothing to be gained by conquering Somalia. So no one is interested. Victor
