Our son and his wife went away for the weekend and we got to watch over our beautiful grandkids. I believe we all had a good time.

A Time Together

A time together with the kids,
When you are with us all alone,
Your mom and dad trusted us with your care,
While they are not close to home.

We take you in our herats,
And realize you are still a child,
And just for this day only,
You are ours to really spoil.

We take you out to eat,
The choice, your favorite place in town,
We'll drink pop and have ice-cream,
Cause your folks just aren't in town.

It's out time together to laugh and smile,
And act just like kids do,
They say we have that every right,
When we hang around with you.

The smile you offer us,
Just fill our hearts with joy,
I know our precious time together,
Will all to quickly fly by.

Just wanted you to know now,
What this time really meant to us,
It isn't hard to love you both,
That caused us to really fuss.

Sweet and tender and. . .God, they are beautiful, aren't they?
You are so smart to treasure every moment with them. They grow so fast! Take good care of yourself, so you will be around when the
darlings give you great grandchildren. Ray and I now have three --
a boy named Dylan and two girls, Taylor and Caylie. All our
grandchildren are girls {beautiful, sweet, intelligent, and talented
girls:):):):)}, so Dylan is something of a novelty. If you think you spoil your grandchildren. . .!!!!:) Thank you for reminding me how lucky we are. ((((((Hugs)))))) 'Glamma' Green

Lucky grandparents get to spoil their progeny's offspring. Good for you, grandfolks! Do it for as long as you can.

Beautiful picure, beautiful of my granddaughters spent the weekend with me last week. We had a wonderful time, I was tired at the end of the visit, but it was wonderful...times that we will cherish as time speeds by far to quickly! Enjoyed this warm and heartfelt write!

Havingtwo of my three grand kids over for the weekend with a tent and camping gear set up in our living room because it rained outside, and having the pleasure of sharing grandchildren via Conference Calling, I'd say we both got energized by getting back to our roots...IE our grandchildren. Great write Cuz.
