Over 3,641 killed, 20,000 wounded in bush’s war—insurgency in it’s last throes---

the lies continue to soar---

Things aren’t getting better they are steadily getting worse---the white house seems disconnected---only things that matters is their purse….

It’s like they are just making it up as they go along---

Keep the soldiers there-- its not time to come home!

More blood, more death, more kids losing their dads…

Iraqi life destroyed as well and the hatred for us ....

Suicide bombers Mad......

Signs that the politics of the war are being reshaped by the continuing tide of bad news is true .

Insurgents attacks are at an all time high........

But to Bush that’s not.......news….

Bush fights harder with the house to keep his pockets fatter....

A puppeteer is our president....but to most it doesn’t matter....

Pushing public relations.....

hosting international dinners....

this man is clueless but he--- is... once again.... the winner........

Using the war on terror as a distraction from his idiotic behavior and domestic failures.....

while we are facing the very real threat from Islamic radicals and their blatant death wish for all Americans....

Cynically using the fear of terrorism to manipulate the American public...some do see the lie you lay so blatantly....mistakenly....this war..your current subject.

We have a Commander in Chief that fights terrorism by invading and occupying a nation that had no links to al Qaeda!!??? --- Padding the pockets....will eventually make who better?!!??

Say it!!!

Gorbachev says the Bush Administration is creating global disorder....just bring YOUR Troop’s home....get your own land in order!

Stupidly....replying with one hand held up.....

My Daddy said....we will not pull out...

I mean....

well hell...

yall know what I mean....

And I ask.......

Death to who?
He/She... signed up for this?

Die for Your country???

Lady bomber?

Hijacker?

Terrorist??

Young Cadet?

Tomorrow???

Today???

What can we expect….??????

This life....this war...

Tell me again.......

your reasons why?

You are right Carla. This war has nothing to do with protecting America's security. This is the war of Bush & Cheney and all of their corporate and oil buddies. What a waste of American and Iraqi blood.

Poems like this one makes me wonder. We've lost over 3,000 killed over there, who are men that signed up not drafted. Since we've been there we haven't experienced another 9/11 here. Which by the way took more lives in one day than the years we've been over there. The question of Weapons of mass destruction is still an open case. In a land where you could hide the Empire State building, hiding a few hundred chemical war heads is nothing in comparison. Our goal now is to plant seeds of democracy in a region where dictators kill thousands. Sometimes those seeds take time to nurture and grow. If you'll notice the geographic location of Iraq, it's right in the middle of all of these dictators regions. Giving us the option to move in any direction needed. As far as mothers losing sons, and children losing fathers. From the revolution until now the sacrifice has been made by hundreds of thousands in order to give you the right to voice your opinion without being beheaded. I'd much rather fight them over there with trained troops, then to battle them in our streets here. You and I could never begin to fathom the reasons or the causes why we go to war. Maybe you won't be one of those who yell that we should have done more when another tragedy hits our country, but you can bet a lot of the whiners will. Right now nothing but politics is causing the negativity about this war. So in closing, give those who enlisted and died for you a little respect because they knew where their dedication lies.

Respectfully
Phillip William Allen
