There`s a cold wind blowing
Down from Toronto
There`s a Hurricane coming
Up from the Keys
Out of the east
Another storm is growing
Look`s like we`re in for nasty Sea`s

There`s a perfect storm on the rise
There`s a perfect storm in your eyes

All the planes have been grounded
The airport has been closed
All the ships have found safe harbor
And the city has closed all the roads

Baby, please stay here with me
I`ll keep you safe and warm
Look in my eyes, not at angry skies
I`ll protect you from the storm

There`s a perfect storm on the rise
There`s a perfect storm in your eyes

Outside the cold wind is blowing
It`s pouring down rivers of rain
Baby I know there`s nothing I can do
To ease your heart from the pain

I don`t expect you to forgive me
I`ve hurt you I realize
Just give me forever
And I`ll turn the weather
Into sunny, cloudless, blue skies

There`s a perfect storm on the rise
There`s a perfect storm in your eyes

Well done, Rick, you build the tension up nicely. A perfect storm, indeed: batten down the hatches, gonna be a bumpy night!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
