Howdy Pardner! Are you saddled up and ready to travel the Internet Trail?
Have hearts will travel, on the Internet,
This ride leads some folks to a world of regret!
Some players that have been wounded and hurt,
Are out for revenge and to do some poor sap, some dirt.
Being in the Internet Cattle Drive, where it's sight unseen and pigs in a poke,
Where trustin hearts fall for a line and end up a joke.
Whispers of," I love you Baby, I think you might be the one!"
Are the whispers whispered to many before day is done.
Poets write you a poem, with a private e-mail sayin this is only for you,
Then you find out later, it was a one size fits all poem, you are part of a crew.
You are put on their speed dial, are you one, two or three?
How they remember who's who, is amazin to me!
A sultry," Hey Baby!" will replace your name, and keep the growing Harem pleased,
While the Player drones on, they are experts, they Bob and Weave.
They get drunk on power, they must give each flower a try,
While they can justify each cruel lie.
No one is immuned, for we all feel unloved, none of us are happy,
That is why we are the players prey, our lives are so crappy!
Now is the time to saddle up, if you care to Ride The Internet's Trail again,
As for me, I will pass, don't wanna be part of the blend,
I'm hangin up my saddle, cause my ridin days have come to an end!

|The thunder you are hearing is from my storming hopaloosa horse down the Sioux Internet which we have cleaned of all two-tongue pale-faces.
Your heart travel only to my teepee.

|Your wonderful piece explains why it is so important to BEWARE before you go ahead and agree to anything. A lesson for us all....

|An insightful and powerful poetic editorial on modern cultural connections and disconnections. It truly is too bad that something so sad is so true.

|Ride on, SC. You express a lot of truths in this song. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

|Great song SC and a lot of truth in it. The internet has become the local pickup bar of the 2000's and the booze that used to loosen inhibitions in that bar has been traded for the words of hope that are offered as rewards to the eager and the lonely. Yet...still, every now and then we hear a success story so is it really all bad?
