What are we doing? One of us should just leave and let the other grieve.

Once again you have made me cry,
Why can't I wise up and tell you good-bye?
What do you really want from me?
Please find out or just leave me be!
I fell in love with you quite by accident,
You were my first attempt at love and I didn't know what love meant.
So far loving you means tears and pain,
Why I am still in love with you, is a mystery I can't explain.
I never classed myself as a fool, too dumb to learn,
But like a mindless month I jump in your flame and burn.
Why do we cling together when we should leave,
Parting from you feels like a death and makes me grieve.
One of us should be strong and just disappear,
But Lover's Gravity's pull keeps us here.
We both have other routes we can take,
One of us should go, for the other's sake.
I know we should definitely part,
But it will be hard for me to survive, because you own my heart!

Sounds quite painful. Especially when all that comes to mind is the tears. A heartfelt piece.

No one can own anything of another's unless granted permission. Take your heart back, return to sender, and leap off that mountain of fear!
Be brave and do what is best for your own spirit, dear lady.
Peace, Love, and Light,
