My eyes open
To the first light
Of a slowly approaching

As it pilfers the night away.
I am able to make out
The contours
Of the patio furniture
Through my French doors.

She lies besides me
My Body can feel hers
Emitting a miraculous warmth
My soul swells with life.

A Gentle hand , I place over
The softness of her Rosebud
On this Early Morning’s Dawn
It’s warmness
Sends me
She begins to moisten
With crystal clear dew
Under my desiring touch.

My lips watered,
To kiss the delicious
Morning’s scent
Of this blossoming

As they travel from
The sensuousness
Of whispers
Leaving a trail of wet
Succulent kisses.

Silken petals mystically spread
Blessing my eyes
With a glorious view
I gently, slowly and greedily
Devour it’s beauty
For this Dawn’s Rosebud
Is not to be shared

Wow, a marvelous & beautiful romantic writing. The images and the voice draws the soul into this poem. A beautiful tribute to the one you love and care for. I'd say this is a real keeper.
