Wanting the Impossible

I always want the impossible
To climb the highest tree
I always want what I can't have
And it all seems to me
The higher up you place your needs
The better off you'll get
The Enigma of your dreams can come
Then you're home free and yet
Had you settled for second place
You're apt to slowly find
That when you cheat yourself of needs
You leave yourself behind.
