My husband and I went on the motorcycle today as I believe it will be my last one for this year. I was so taken away by the beauty that nature shares with us at this time of year. As Fall arrives the trees know just what season is upon them, no one has to tell them it is time to change their clothes. Make no wonder this is my favourite time of the year as nature paints a pretty picture for our viewing never disappointing us.

Nature Paints A Pretty Picture

The trees seem to understand,
Its that time of year once more,
They model all the new fall colours,
The ones I seem to just adore.

The weather it is changing,
Its kind of cooling down,
As we watch through the forest,
As the old leaves cover the ground.

They dress in their finest,
To impress us one and all,
Isnít it a strange coincidence,
How they know that it is Fall.

Oh how they looked so pretty,
They made me forget that itís cold,
As I stared out in the forest,
Loving their colours bright and bold.

Nature paints a pretty picture,
Through each season for us to adore,
And through each  passing day,
We look forward to snow outside the door.

Your words, the picture - such a beauty and tranquility. Our leaves have not begun to change, but, oh, when they do - breathtaking. God is quite an artist!

What a beautiful way to let us know through words what time of year that you love the most. I can't say that I agree with you last line, though....I, personally, do not look forward to the snow outside the door....hehe. I love you, mom.

As nature paints with its colorful brush, so, you paint with your colorful words. Beautiful and enjoyable. The snowy night and the fire burning in the stove......

Beautiful painting you did with your words. You allowed us to see this wonder through your eyes and smile with your smile thinking how wonderful mother nature is, and just think in a week you will be able to see again the most beautiful fall country in the world...Nova Scotia
