This Tanka reveals your unique ability to express visual beauty in words that paint a picture even more beautiful than the work of art that accompanies it. Like Lydi, I think your words reveal something much more than what we see on the surface. It is a beautiful piece of writing.

mercy me...here you use of of my favorite forms of verse and used it extremely well I might add and wedded it to the vivid art...There is an art form called the picture haiku, which uses the same technique...I guess this then would be a picture tanka of sorts.
Outstanding work my friend. |

Beautiful as the flower itself. I like your flower series and with your natural eye for beauty am eager to see thewm blossom. I moved to Tampa...new career change and happiness is as abundant here as the beautiful birds and flowers. My son and his family are just around the corner too and that is the main reason I moved. You seem happy as well. How's your world?
Love,
Susan |
