|Happiness to me is: is everything not to do with materialism, but to enjoy life, joy of homely friends at fireside chats with the snow outside, a walk in the forest. The pleasure of a promotion or pay rise, new car, is nowt, when compared to the sunrise, or the feeling and warmth of a beloved woman's beautiful naked body...|

|When you think of happiness, you think of silliness.
Oh, to be wild and curious.
I hope to be both wild, and curious, until the day that I die. A delightful piece, Kathy!

|Happiness is loving yourself and extending that love toward others.
Happiness is peace in the world.
Happiness is finding the light in your soul and spreading lightness toward mankind.

|Thank you Kathy for your Happiness!
This part of your poem is powerful and meaning to me.
"All the while planning for tomorrow.
When I think of happiness, I eliminate sorrow.
Whatever your definition of happiness, remember –
Life is exhilarating, for there may be no tomorrow!"
Sorrow is hard to eliminate and yes happiness can and is a wonderful temporary solace from sorrow….especially if the sorrow has such deep and entangled roots. Happiness is a breath of fresh air to those of us who have suffered great loss in our lives, whether the loss is from childhood, loss of innocence, loss of pet, loss of best friends, loss of a family member, loss of job….the list goes on and on. Yes, happiness is all that you mention and without it, life would be so hard to bear.

|A profound write my friend, I agree with Ted...state of mind is the key to much happiness. I know when I am feeling a bit down, I can sift through my blessings, count them one by one, and before long I have forgotten what it was that I was feeling down about! Great write! Enjoyed!
