A poem written for a friend who is going through a difficult time.
|
My prayers are with your family Where’er this path should lead Please know you can count on me In this great hour of need I know you’re filled with heartache And, maybe, even doubt But, with each footstep you take You’ll never go without The love of friends who need you And the hope in your heart Since you are one of the few Who sets this world apart You’ve shared your words of insight You’ve helped others to learn Hence, while you battle this fight I’ll grant words in return
Stay strong now, for your family But, if your strength should fade Fall softly upon one knee And think of how I’ve prayed Indeed, support surrounds you Down this path, you must bear With faith, I know you’ll pull through ‘til then, you’re in each prayer.

Jill, your poems have such perfect rhythm.
To have a friend so supportive and kind is such a blessing. How you must be just that to this needy one. God bless you.

Rich in significance, well-written as always. I saw your name and thought a Jill Eisnaugle poem is just what I need for today.
This will surely be a comfort and help to the recipient, to read when his courage is waning and be reminded anew of your genuine care and willingness to help.
Love,

Nicely done. This will help your friend and would comfort anyone who reads it, as each one of us is going through something at any given time.
"Fall softly upon one knee" literally reaches out of the poem and touches me and reminds me to always pray and give thanks to God. Thank you, *Glen* |
