Some people are born to be alone and are forced to find comfort within themselves. I am one of those nomads, I am a survivor.

I sway to the music that plays in my head,
My hips sway suggestively, I mimic movements that could be seen in a lover's bed.
My hands lift my breasts, as an offering to an unseen lover,
But in reality, I dance for me and no other.
I dance in celebration of being a woman, ripe with passion unspent,
I wish to remain a mystery, no one knows why I was sent.
Please don't pity me, some beings are born to dwell alone,
I am a sexual being, I have no hang-ups, I choose to be on my own.
Once I was tempted to take a lover,
But love equals pain and requires trusting another.
For fear of breakage, I guard my heart,
Love is a fleeting emotion, so I remain aloof and set apart.
I ask nothing, I just want to be allowed to be,
My daily quest is peace of mind and for my spirit to fly free.
I ask nothing from you, not even the time of day,
So don't try to cut in, leave me alone and let the music play.

Your heart may be guarded, but the music is for you. Listen to it and enjoy the delight that it brings. You are incredible.

Hi Comfort,

This is a beautiful writing, its very good to be alone sometimes...
But dont hold yourself to love, give it another chance..
Who knows? Things might be different.
