A Way Of Life
~*~

The Tiller, tills his soil
He reaps what he saws
The merchant buys and sells
His good at will
The rich, gets richer
The poor stays poor.

The tax collector, collects taxes
Fleecing
The peons of what they own
The Fisherman
who feeds the village
Was made ďA Fisher of MenĒ
The rich, gets richer
The poor stays poor.

The King, is the King
Dispensing
His justice and reigns
The Healer heals
The dying dies
The rich gets richer
The poor stays poor
Nothing has changed
Itís just A Way Of Life.

This is a sad commentary on our society. I'm glad that many don't take the road to "oh, well," and try to make the world a better place. Or, at least that's what I hope.

William,
Yes this is so true..time to change things, but how, where, what, and when? Not a question, just know that you are definitely not alone in this way of thinking.
Peace, Love, and Light,

It is too prevalent. You have to make a definite decision to change and then make it happen.
Great write D'Artagnan!

It's a way of life too many of us have accepted, then choose to do nothing about, so it's no wonder man has been wandering through life from the beginning. Someone has said that nothing changes in the human condition until we choose to change.

Very good and insightful write.

Peace,
Dan
