From The Vault, Part One Of A Collaborative Love Poem Amor And I Would Like To Share With You Again

~La Belle~

I feel as if I know you;… have known you
well before time, for us, had ever begun
since before the dredging out of seas
and the sculpting of mountain heights
our souls connected by so much more
beyond intellect or physical attraction
I envision sweet dark chocolate depths
Set afire as they gaze into emerald flames
in once placid, iridescent pools of my own
now moving with flecks of russet hot desire
as my hands reach out to touch you at last
It seems you already know me, My Love,
even though we have never before met

As I lounge in the caress of soft bubbles
I imagine the tender touch of your hands
sensations of your beard against satin skin
I can only wonder if this is no more than a reverie
If it is not but a segment of the unrealized
electric dreams we have so long indulged
fantasies of longing in an untamed love
haunting images created out of our need
The unconditional adoration of your love
hot passion of your offering in gilded words
wrapping us together in a blanket of familiar
yet dangerously exciting exploding desires
I tremble as I try to believe that you would
prefer the reality of me to an electric dream

Dreams, so tangible our souls eagerly melded
And not only of our souls and minds up to now,
but of bodies aching to feel love's tactile touch,
becoming inevitable, too powerful to longer deny
As I brush my hair I can almost feel the movement
of your masculine hands entangling in my red silk



~Amor~

I wait for you with my heart in hand
in rainbows that the shoreline sprays
beneath the grapefruit-tangerine sun
There is always fear and trepidation
as anxiety attempts to protect my heart
but, yet, I know that this is long awaited
and I have no doubt that you will show
Just to think of you my heart will smile
imagining you in that restless beauty
emanating from the depths of your soul
The security of your love excites me
even though we have never truly met

I paint a backdrop with a bright horizon
as I duplicate a tranquil turquoise sea
in preparation for your gracious arrival
while my heart does a butterfly’s dance
My hands shake as much as my knees
and I know well it is from that anticipation
that of having you alone with me at last
but I am also confident of what we share
knowing well the depths of our passion
allowing the light to lead us in our path
for I shall not retract these pure emotions
that were born to us in electric dreams
