...be this philosophy or humor, either way I work mostly with rumor... |

Is there humor in meditation,
Though they try it shows not in mediation,
Humor could be considered an aberration,
Of ones mind closed though it may be,
To daily changes and an abnormal use of medication…
Does Zen have anything to do with humor,
Are we herein discussing truth or rumor,
Can humor then be bought by the consumer,
I may have a lack for the brain, but I still got the tumor…
Am I herein beating a dead equine,
While I suck the straw to empty a bottle of wine,
Some higher power has done all this by design,
I try to find humor in daily activities,
Most times though I find no humor standing in line…

ED...
GOOD HUMOR... ain't he the guy ringing the bell, playing music, and selling icecream?
and ZEN is the suffix of CITI, as in KANE!
And you better hope ole PEE-WEE don't get wind of you beatin' horses, even DEAD ones! Even they deserve dignity!
and you SUCKING WINE --- don't blame that on GOD! 'cause then you would be SUCKING WIND!
and RUMOR has it that RUFUS is the REAL PUPPETEER! and POET! and ZENMASTER!
But, you are FUNNY --- well sort of, sometimes... occasionally... er, uh, um ...
REPEAT LINE ABOVE!
and BEWARE --- MEDITATION WITHOUT COGITATION MAY CAUSE CONSTIPATION!
yer TRAILER TRASH PAL... TomKat...

Meditation is good for the soul, but it always makes me fall asleep. Apparently, I'm not good at meditation, but I am awfully good at sleeping soundly. ZZZzzzzz Pretty funny, huh? I guess there is some humor there. lol

I believe in the power of self healing and I'm proof that it works. There is so much we don't know about our bodies and to say something works better for one than another is wise as no two bodies are the same. Who knows us better than us anyway.
Love,

Thank you for sharing your philosophical perspective, Ed. I have been advised on many occasions to "medidate." So far, I have not had the patience to make a true effort at it. Love and best wishes,

I get my humor fix while standing in lines,
by reading the tabloids and laughing at their headlines.....

Ed,
Look around you. There's something funny in most everything: I know, you've written about it! Keep looking to the sunny side, I need it, too, especially now. Have had a couple hard days...an excellent write (and you better be kidding 'bout the tumor!!).
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. Licky kisses to Rufuz and you! |

| Brother, may there always be humor, and rumors of humor, in our lives. And good humor makes us really laugh, and sometimes, even leaves us speechless - as Tom Hyland's humorous remark did to you on my gnome poem!! |
